UMA SUCINTA ABORDAGEM DAS DEMANDAS JUDICIAIS QUE TUTELAM A LAGOA DO BONFIM NO MUNICÍPIO DE NÍSIA FLORESTA/RN

Abstract

The research conducted will surround the jurisdictional protection of the environment in public civil action: a brief approach to the lawsuits that protect the Bonfim Lagoon in the municipality of Nísia Floresta/RN. Within this context, the procedural progress of two public civil actions that currently protect Bonfim was briefly traced, highlighting the importance of public civil actions in protecting the lagoon. In an objective way, we tried to show how the use and occupation of Bonfim Lagoon occurs, what are the main difficulties encountered in the course of processing the public civil actions of Bonfim Lagoon. At the same time, highlighting relevant points about Law 7.347/85. To succeed in the research, a case study was made in two public civil actions of Bonfim, allied to a qualitative research with sources in doctrine, jurisprudence and current legislation. During the work it was found that the public civil action is an essential instrument in the protection of the environment, but it runs into a number of external factors that mostly do not depend on the procedural processing.
