Abstract

The present work studies domestic violence against women, as well as the ineffectiveness of the protective measures provided for in Law nº 11.340/2006, known as Maria da Penha Law. public Power. The methodology to be used in this article will be bibliografhy, as it explores theoretical and practical aspects, bringing the problem under the aspect of, it is possible to affirm that the protective measures are in fact inefficient, and that the inspection is not being effective by the power public? The edition of the Maria da Penha law brought significant advances in the protection of women, especially in the provision of protective measures, however the lack of supervision or deficiency of these measures generate inefficiency, the main factor generated by this problem is legal uncertainty and fear of denounce that persists in victims of domestic violence, making it impossible for the cycle of violence to end.
