Abstract

ABSTRACT: This work aims at the analysis of burnout syndrome and its consequences in the scope of work, in workers who work at the height of the pandemic experienced since 2019, with the arrival of the virus in Brazil. In this aspect, this research has as a search for the causes and reasons of burnout syndrome, in addition to the risk factors directed to professionals working in the pandemic. Thus, the bibliography research was used, through a systematic review of the literature, in search of understanding and relevance of the theme to society, in August and September 2022. Thus, it is concluded that the exposure of workers during periods of extreme risk can further aggravate stress and increase the chances of burnout in professionals, especially those highlighted as essential services. Soon the preventive measures, indemnities and care provided to this public becomes crucial to reverse a certain situation.
